Macaroni and Onion-Virtu’s first advertising campaign. In early July, Virtu   launched a nationwide advertising campaign in addition to its commercial activities. ‘Don’t waste your time! Virtu! Quick & Tasty!’ It’s the company’s marketing slogan supported by the specially created puppets – Macaroni the cook and his best friend Onion. These unusual theatre puppets have been created by Konrad ‘Kony’ Czarkowski - the finalist of the second edition of ‘Poland’s got talent’. The humorous kitchen adventures of Macaroni and his friend Onion can be seen in two thirty-second commercials. Advertisements can be seen in more than sixty cinemas in the country (Cinema City and Helios) as well as on television. The advertising campaign is also supported by: billboards, which appear in hundreds of attractive locations in Poland, large format advertising on public transportation in major cities, labelling food packaging with the main characters of the campaign and advertising in trade magazines. In parallel with the media campaign the activities to support sales will be carried out such as store tastings. Internet advertising activities are complemented by a complete change of Virtu’s website, which aims to improve both the visibility of its products as well as raising the level of service interactions with consumers.
